Sainsburys Local Charity of the Year

We support Shepherds Bush Families Project & they're nominated for Sainsburys Local Charity of the Year! Since 2009 Sainsbury's stores have each selected a Local Charity of the Year to partner with and with your support they've now raised over £11 million. This can really make a big difference to local charities at the heart of the communities where we live and work.

Tougher than Tough Mudder

Wow! What a team, what an extraordinary effort, what a fantastic amount of money raised! The Finlay Brewer gang absolutely excelled themselves last weekend with every single one of them completing the gruelling 11 mile obstacle laden event. Twenty six obstacles stood between our initially nervous team and the finish line including ice-baths, electric shock fields, walls with ‘comforting’ names like Everest, monkey bars over freezing water and a LOT of hills, steep hills! The sun was out but the temperature was low and with little time for the ‘Warmer Tents’ that had been set up, the team completed the course in 5 hours …… 5 hours of facing fears, hilarity, pushing, pulling and, of course, mud mud mud. Afterwards, it was time to celebrate with pizza, beer, burgers, cider and much more hilarity. Relief, happiness and extraordinarily a full team of people saying they would do it again! Total respect to you all Bryony, Mike, Jon, Sophie, Joseph, Viktoria, Holly, Stephen, Andrew and Dina ……
