FINLAY BREWER AT 25
Posted by: Simon Gresswell 6 months ago
This May, Finlay Brewer celebrates 25 years of trading in West London. In the lead up to that date, we expect a challenging but interesting first quarter with some very impressive properties coming on to the market. Director, Paul Cosgrove discusses the company’s ethos and takes a look at the current market conditions in and around Brook Green.
How long have Finlay Brewer been trading in Brook Green?
We will celebrate 25 years of trading in May this year. And because of our longstanding experience of living and breathing all things Brook Green, we firmly believe that we have an unequalled knowledge of the neighbourhood and its residential property offering, having sold the majority of its local houses.
What is the company’s ethos?
Listen, advise and deliver – the three key words to a successful business. We take time to listen to our clients, doing everything we can to ensure that we deliver the best results whilst giving the information, knowledge and comfort they need so that they are able to buy or sell with absolute confidence.
Prime properties new to the market…
One stand out property is on Wingate Road. It’s a semi detached, well configured four/five bedroom Victorian house, which oozes sophistication and style. It boasts a wonderful 50’ garden, enjoys an open aspect to the rear of the property and also comes with off street parking. A cleverly thought out home with a great feel both inside and out.
Another interesting property on the market is on Rowan Road. Owned and designed by the eminent architect Sir Deny Lasdun; it’s a five bedroom Victorian house occupying an excellent position on this sought after road just off Brook Green. The property enjoys a wonderful open aspect to the rear and also benefits from off street parking for two cars
Market predictions for the coming months…
Leaving politics to one side for now, looking forward, we predict that whilst the market remains cautious and price sensitive, we expect that activity will grow given the pent up demand and the fact that more people need to get on and move for the usual reasons. We also believe that serious prospective buyers are becoming more accustomed to the market and world we now live in. Brook Green remains a popular neighbourhood with a wide range of properties available – and we hope to maintain our position as top traders in the area.
